Conferences on the marine environment and biosphere reserve management

The Consell Insular de Menorca, the Jaume Ferrer Research Station and the Menorca Preservation Fund shall be presenting a series of monthly talks on the marine environment and biosphere reserve management.

The objective of this programme is to delve into meaningful issues regarding marine conservation and exploitation. These talks will be used to expose highly current matters with respect to Menorca and its marine environment, like the expansion of the biosphere reserve or the creation of the Illa de l’Aire Marine Reserve. Issues that are vital to the future of our island and our sea shall be debated, with the knowledge and vision of expert researchers and specialists in the marine environment.
